Just turning on the news or scrolling through your social media feed, it's easy to see that we live in a broken world. We witness injustice, hatred, and calamity so frequently that it’s difficult not to believe this is all life has to offer. However accurate that might be, it doesn’t have to be our testimony. We can experience Heaven here on Earth, right now!
When the disciples asked Jesus how they must pray, he carefully instructed them to petition God to invoke His will on Earth as it is in Heaven. What does that mean to the believer? It means that peace, love, joy, healing, and prosperity are our jurisdictional rights as ambassadors of heaven. Invoking God’s presence in our situations will turn what looks like a hellish circumstance into heavenly grace. So yes, if you live right, heaven does belong to you, but not just in the sweet by and by, also here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
