“Limitless”

“You have given me no descendants of my own, so one of my servants will be my heir.” Then the Lord said to him, “No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir.” Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!”

Genesis 15:3-5 NLT

Too often, as believers, we tend to settle for the scraps. We align ourselves with a falsehood that something is better than nothing. That mindset has allowed the devil to steal all that God intends for his children. How can we truly be descendants of a King and settle for anything beneath our royal heritage? Last I checked, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullest thereof. We limit our faith to believe for things we can do on our own, but have no faith to believe for something that only God can perform.

Abraham found himself in a similar situation. He’s promised to be a “father of many nations,” unfortunately he had no son. In his mind, he had “settled” on the fact that the blessing would come from a servant and not a son. God pulled him outside of his tent and said to him I know what you think or have settled on, but want I’m about to give to you is Limitless! Have we settled for good when the best is available? Today let’s take the limits off God and our minds and trust him to do exceeding abundantly more than we can ask or think.

God Bless You and Have a Prosperous Day!!
