100% Guarantee is labeled on most products we purchase. It serves as a promise that certain conditions will be fulfilled if there is a problem. As Christians, hope is not wishful thinking, because we find our hope in Jesus Christ. Hope is a knowing, a certainty, and an expectation that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has our lives in his hands. Every step of our life has been ordered by God. We can take these steps because God has established them. It is truly up to us to put our full confidence in him. In Proverbs 13:12 the bible says that "hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life". We must put our total faith in God. Our faith weakens when we move away from God and seek temporary fixes. Temporary fixes may work for the moment, but they will not last. In order to keep our hope, we must remember who is in control. Deuteronomy 31:8 says the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. There is no place that is off limits with God. He is your guide, and he will navigate you through all the affairs of life. Psalm 20:7 says "some trust in Chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the Lord our God". No one can fulfill the promises over your life but God. God is a promise keeper. His word serves as 100% guarantee that when you put your trust in him, he will not fail you. The next time you find yourself drifting away, go to God and secure your anchor in him.
